【PRODUCT DESCRIPTION】
Yoko Sakamoto work shirt.
A shirt jacket based on a classic work jacket.
It incorporates just the right amount of shirt details to create a light outerwear piece that can be easily put on.
This piece is characterized by its ambiguous and exquisite balance, somewhere between a shirt and a work jacket.
It has front and chest pockets, making it practical for workwear.
-MAX HIGH COUNT HEMP-
The material used is original fabric woven at a weaver in the Oshu region.
This plain weave fabric is made from medium-fine hemp yarn, woven at the highest possible density for both the warp and weft.
After weaving, the fabric is subjected to a nidom process, which deliberately shrinks it significantly to create a rich texture on the surface.
During the processing process, the surface of the fabric is rubbed, softening the fibers and giving it a soft, brushed feel.
When woven at a high density, the fabric is as stiff as canvas, but after going through the Nidom process, it takes on a rich, soft texture, like old cloth that has been used for many years.
*Due to the characteristics of the material, pilling may occur due to friction when worn or washing. Please understand that this is a phenomenon unique to the material.
