Following on from last time, this is another 1st anniversary exclusive from I AM DORK. This time, we're introducing their work pants.

The shape is I AM DORK's classic work pants.

This model is a reimagining of the baggy pants favored by 90s skaters, reconstructed with the finest tailoring and high-quality materials.
While maintaining the voluminous silhouette that reflects the free spirit of street culture, the meticulous craftsmanship and carefully selected materials create a unique and addictive pair of pants.

With a wide straight silhouette, not tapered, but falling cleanly, I recommend trying them out, especially for those who hesitate about wide pants.

Offered in a single size, the waist is large. It can be adjusted with a belt to fit anyone. These versatile pants can be worn all year round.

・"COTTON LINEN STRIPE" (DEADSTOCK FABRIC)

This rare deadstock fabric, consisting of 75% cotton, 20% linen, and 5% polyester, was personally sourced by designer Nakano in Italy.
With 75% cotton and 20% linen, the white striped parts are likely polyester. It's a slightly thin fabric, perfect for spring and summer.

The white pinstripes on beige. The striped parts have a distinctive bumpy texture. It's a reversible fabric, and I was torn about which side to use as the front. The side that became the back has a smoother, whiter fabric than the front, which would give a more refined impression. However, it felt a little too neat, and I wanted to add a touch of workwear feel, as well as make the part that touches the skin smoother, so it turned out to be a good decision.

While plain beige can lean too heavily towards a workwear aesthetic, the stripes give it a classic and intellectual feel. Pairing it with a navy jacket for a classic look would also be excellent.

I made these with the intention that you would pair them with the chambray exclusive shirt.



It's a classic combination of a chambray shirt and beige pants, but I think we managed to create a lighter, more unique and elegant look. Please consider getting the set.

・"COTTON LINEN" (DEADSTOCK FABRIC)

This is a deadstock fabric of 50% cotton and 50% linen. The cotton moderately suppresses the characteristic roughness of linen, making it a perfect fabric for Japanese summers.

The fabric, which can also be seen as linen chambray, gives the impression of summer slacks. It was produced after a casual conversation with a customer who said, "It would be nice to have a pair of I AM DORK work pants that can be worn cleanly like slacks, but also casually, even in summer."

The color is charcoal gray. This versatile gray, which is rare but not unheard of, is perfect for summer. It goes well with a white T-shirt, or even with dark brown or black, as the linen prevents it from looking too heavy.

I'd love to pair them with leather sandals. The delayed Dimissiano sandals should be arriving soon, so please consider them together.

For this one, I highly recommend pairing it with the beige herringbone shirt. Even in the photo, it's a great combination that looks elegant without feeling heavy.
