【PRODUCT DESCRIPTION】
Yoko Sakamoto's regular collar shirt.
The elegant pattern is based on a dress shirt, but the relaxed silhouette is characterized by a moderately dropped shoulder line and a relaxed width. The relaxed, loose fit makes it suitable for a wide range of styles, from casual to dressy. It is a highly versatile piece that can be worn all year round.
The fabric is made with an ultra-high density typewriter woven on an old-fashioned shuttle loom at a historic weaver in the Enshu region, which is internationally acclaimed for its plain weave cotton fabrics. This plain weave fabric is woven to the highest possible density, which is difficult to reproduce at other weavers.
By weaving fine yarns at an ultra-high density, the fabric creates a crisp sound as it rubs against your skin every time you move, giving you a unique wearing experience that makes you feel as if you are wearing fabric.
After sewing, the garment is garment dyed to create a rich texture. You can also enjoy the unique aging process that occurs with repeated wear and washing, which is unique to typewriter fabric.

We believe that by creating designs that do not interfere with the characteristics of the material or silhouette, we can make the most of the inherent goodness of the garment. We hope that if we can convey the skills of the artisans involved in the process in the best possible way, it will lead to the creation of items that the wearer will enjoy more fully and will be able to use and cherish for a long time.
