【PRODUCT DESCRIPTION】
Gurank camouflage cargo pants.

Based on the Gurkha shorts adopted by the British Army in the 1980s, these are made from a soft cotton twill with a modern suppleness.

They combine the soft, familiar feel of vintage clothing with the rugged silhouette characteristic of military wear.
Their most distinctive feature is the original camouflage pattern, created through **hand-printing** by artisans.

Hand-printing is a traditional Japanese printing technique in which artisans manually apply ink to fabric, aligning a different stencil for each color. Unlike digital printing by machine, the overlapping inks and subtle variations in pressure create a deep richness of color and soft, uneven textures. Furthermore, by combining special inks and processing, we have achieved a unique faded hue that looks as if it has been used for many years.

The buttons are custom-made iron tack buttons. They are designed to gradually rust where the paint chips or gets scratched, allowing the garment to evolve with the fabric's aging into a personalized, tool-like piece for its owner.

The waist is generously sized, so we recommend adjusting it with a belt.

【BRAND】
(Gurank / グランク)
Gurank is a coined word combining terms from the core of manufacturing: K. (Kinobibyou/functional beauty/design), G. (Mingu/folk implements/everyday objects), N.A. (Narawai/custom/established practice), R. (Karei/splendor/beauty), and U. (Tsuyua/allure). Without being tied to a specific country or era, the brand proposes subtly new items based on the designer's experiences.
