【PRODUCT DESCRIPTION】
This is a backpack from Big Rock Candy Mountaineering.

This bag is based on backpacks favored by mountaineers in the early 1970s, but with enhanced durability for modern daily use and fieldwork.

The main material is a durable 800-denier polyester canvas with a water-repellent coating. Genuine leather is used on the bottom to prevent abrasion when placed on rocks and to keep the canvas fabric from thinning.

The "2.0" update significantly improves carrying comfort. The shape and layout of the shoulder straps have been revised, and breathable cushion mesh has been added to the back panel. Furthermore, the internal pocket layout and sewing structure have been reinforced, evolving it into a more comfortable and tougher piece of equipment than the previous model.

The four leather "ice axe holders" on the outside are practical details for securing items that don't fit inside or gear you want to access quickly with a strap.

The designers are Samuel, a founding member of ROWING BLAZERS, and Peter, known as the designer of WYTHE. With a proven track record in vintage research and design, their source of inspiration came from early American alpinists, mountaineers, and pioneers of innovative gear who established the outdoor style from the 1950s to the 1970s.
While paying homage to past designs, the collection incorporates playful "twists" throughout, resulting in high-quality items that exude a nostalgic, vintage feel.
The brand name is derived from Harry McClintock's folk song "The Big Rock Candy Mountain," released in 1927. They propose new outdoor wear where the adventurous spirit of old America intersects with modern design sensibilities.
