It was handmade in Minnesota, USA between 1923 and 2002.
nemadji pottery.
The designs are primarily borrowed from ancient Native American pottery styles.
The warm, unglazed pattern seems to go well with Japanese folk art.
Made from clay left behind by retreating glaciers 2,500 years ago, each piece is beautifully hand-patterned, meaning no two are alike.
