【PRODUCT DESCRIPTION】
This is a Mexican clay figurine made in the 1970s. The artist who created this clay figurine, Teodora Blanco (1928-1980), was an artist active in Oaxaca, Mexico.
She developed her own unique style, making use of earthy colors, which was revolutionary at the time.
Her works, in which humans and animals coexist, are all healthy, beautiful, and very heartwarming.
His work has been highly acclaimed as art in the United States and other countries since then, and he is also famous as the only craftsman to have appeared on the cover of LIFE magazine.
Her work was also featured in Kojiro Kawamura's book "Folk Crafts of the World," where its excellence was praised.
