【PRODUCT DESCRIPTION】
This is the Arctic Parka from BIG ROCK CANDY MOUNTAINEERING.
It is a down jacket based on the sturdy cold-weather parkas developed by pioneers who opened up the American outdoor scene in the mid-20th century.
The durable nylon shell boasts vibrant colors that stand out in winter landscapes. Inside, it is generously filled with high-quality duck down, ensuring reliable warmth even in severe cold.
The front features a double-layer structure with a zipper covered by a buttoned storm placket, effectively blocking out biting cold air and snow. Furthermore, the drawcords at the hood, waist, and hem can be tightened to prevent body heat from escaping and wind from entering, making it a thoroughly cold-proof design.
Storage is also well-considered, with large front pockets accessible from both the top and side, useful for carrying tools and as handwarmers for cold hands.
It also includes an inner pocket for securely storing essentials. This piece combines classic aesthetics with wisdom and functionality for comfortably navigating harsh winters.

【BRAND】
(BIG ROCK CANDY MOUNTAINEERING)
The brand is led by Samuel, a founding member of ROWING BLAZERS, and Peter, known as the designer for WYTHE. With a proven track record in vintage research and design, their source of inspiration comes from early American alpinists, mountaineers, and pioneers of innovative gear who shaped outdoor styles from the 1950s to the 1970s.
While respecting past designs, their collection incorporates playful "twists" throughout, resulting in high-quality garments with a nostalgic, vintage feel.
The brand name is derived from "The Big Rock Candy Mountain," a folk song released by Harry McClintock in 1927. It proposes new outdoor wear where the adventurous spirit of old America intersects with modern design sensibilities.
