【PRODUCT DESCRIPTION】
These work pants were produced as a special item for our 1st anniversary, using deadstock fabric.
They were created based on a casual conversation with a customer, who mentioned, "It would be great to have I AM DORK work pants that look as neat as slacks, even in summer, but are still comfortable and easy to wear."
The shape is I AM DORK's classic work pants.
A clean, wide straight silhouette that falls straight down without tapering.
Though they appear to be rough work pants at first glance, a closer look reveals their excellent tailoring.
With brass cat-eye buttons and meticulous stitching even on the inside, these pants are built to be worn universally and continuously.
Offered in one size, with a larger waist. They can be adjusted with a belt and worn by anyone. These versatile pants can be worn year-round.
Italian Deadstock Cotton Linen
We chose a deadstock fabric, 50% cotton and 50% linen, personally sourced by Mr. Nakano in Italy. The cotton moderately suppresses the characteristic roughness of linen, making it a texture perfect for the Japanese summer.
The color is a personal favorite: charcoal gray. The inclusion of linen leaves "slubs" in the fabric, preventing a flat appearance and creating a rich, profound look that doesn't feel heavy.
They can be casually paired with a T-shirt, or dressed up with a jacket for a slightly more refined look. They go well with sneakers, leather shoes, or sandals. It's truly impressive how much this work pant transforms with a change of fabric, making it a highly recommended item this season.

"I am dork" is a brand helmed by Yasushi Nakano of ANSNAM.
With Takashi Okano of "For flowers of romance" as the designer, Mr. Nakano supervises the production aspects, including patterns and materials.
The collection is inspired by skaters of the 90s, reinterpreting the casual items worn by street kids of that era, as seen in Larry Clark's film "KIDS," from the perspective of Mr. Okano, who was also a skater boy. By elevating these items to the highest quality, the brand creates new value.
