Crafted from 15oz heavyweight cotton French terry.
Features an elasticated waist with an adjustable drawcord. Hem finished with double-needle coverstitch.
Equipped with a total of four pockets: two on the sides and two at the back.
Treated with a vintage wash for a unique finish. Pre-washed to prevent further shrinkage.

"MEDIEVAL" began with a fascination for illuminated manuscripts. The more we researched, the more we noticed the strange little creatures that monks would draw in the margins of beautiful, elaborate books.
At first, we imagined a lonely monk secretly sipping wine, playfully hiding drawings in the margins to see how much he could get away with. We later learned, however, that this was not merely a whim, but a tradition known as "marginalia."
Marginalia refers to the doodles, scribbles, and annotations scattered across the margins of manuscripts. Sometimes they were drawn for no reason at all, and other times they were born simply because paper was precious and there was nowhere else to draw.
Taking this marginalia as our starting point, we envisioned a fictional museum dedicated to collecting medieval saint relics and curiosities. Giving this museum the slogan "Illuminated Relics of Helmstedt" felt deeply personal. The German town of Helmstedt is where the designer's mother grew up and where his grandmother still lives, a land with a rich medieval history. This connection made the theme feel all the more fitting.
The drawings in this collection reflect the intricate brushwork of the Middle Ages while capturing the spirit of marginalia. They include playful imps running about, angels soaring through the sky, and references to the medieval zodiac, which was once used as a guide to determine whether or not medical procedures could be performed throughout the year.
