【PRODUCT DESCRIPTION】
This is the Minaret Down Vest from Big Rock Candy Mountaineering.
It's a new reversible vest from the Fall/Winter 2026 season.
The shell uses a smooth 100% nylon fabric, designed for a comfortable feel against the skin. The insulation is generously filled with "Thermore® Ecodown Genius Fibers," a high-performance insulating material that combines excellent warmth with the unique volume and astonishing lightness of down.
The design is based on 1970s mountain outerwear. It incorporates practical details from that era, such as distinctive front sweep pockets, a reversible 2-way zip, and a knitted collar to prevent cold air from entering from the neck.
The 2-way zip allows for easy adjustment of ventilation, and the ability to switch between the front and back depending on the day's temperature and layering makes this a valuable addition to your winter wardrobe.

The designers are Samuel, a founding member of ROWING BLAZERS, and Peter, known as the designer for WYTHE. With a proven track record in vintage research and design, they drew inspiration from the early American alpinists, mountaineers, and pioneers of innovative gear who shaped outdoor styles from the 1950s to the 1970s.
While respecting past designs, their collection incorporates playful "twists" throughout, resulting in high-quality pieces that exude a nostalgic, vintage charm.
The brand name is derived from "The Big Rock Candy Mountain," a folk song released by Harry McClintock in 1927. They propose new outdoor wear that intersects the adventurous spirit of old America with contemporary design sensibilities.
