【PRODUCT DESCRIPTION】
This is an alpine jacket from Big Rock Candy Mountaineering.

Inspired by 70s mountain outerwear, this is a classic down jacket.

It features eye-catching large front sweep pockets and a two-way full-zip that can be opened and closed from top or bottom depending on the situation, incorporating functional details of the era into a modern design. The hem and cuffs are ribbed knit, preventing cold drafts while elegantly cinching in the relaxed silhouette.

The jacket is generously filled with "Thermore® Ecodown Genius Fibers" for insulation. This is a high-performance insulation material that offers both high thermal retention and the unique volume and astonishing lightness of down.

With an adjustable drawstring hood and a roomy sizing that allows for easy layering, this jacket is suitable not only for casual city wear but also for active winter scenes.

(BIG ROCK CANDY MOUNTAINEERING / BIG ROCK CANDY MOUNTAINEERING)
The designers are Samuel, a founding member of ROWING BLAZERS, and Peter, known as the designer of WYTHE. With a proven track record in vintage research and design, they drew inspiration from early American alpinists, mountaineers, and pioneers of innovative gear who shaped outdoor styles from the 1950s to the 1970s.
While paying homage to past designs, their collection incorporates playful "twists" throughout, resulting in high-quality garments that exude a nostalgic vintage feel.
The brand name is derived from "The Big Rock Candy Mountain," a folk song released by Harry McClintock in 1927. They propose new outdoor wear that intersects the adventurous spirit of old America with modern design sensibilities.
