【PRODUCT DESCRIPTION】
This is an alpine jacket from Big Rock Candy Mountaineering.
It's a classic down jacket inspired by 70s mountain outerwear.
Modern functional details from that era have been incorporated, such as eye-catching large front sweep pockets and a two-way full-zip that can be opened from top or bottom depending on the situation. The hem and cuffs feature knit ribbing, which prevents cold drafts while elegantly tightening the relaxed silhouette.
The jacket is generously filled with "Thermore® Ecodown Genius Fibers" for insulation. This is a high-performance insulating material that offers both high heat retention and the unique volume and astonishing lightness of down.
With an adjustable drawstring hood and a roomy fit that accommodates various inner layers, this jacket is not only suitable for urban wear but also flexibly adaptable for layering in active winter scenes.

The designers are Samuel, a founding member of ROWING BLAZERS, and Peter, known as the designer for WYTHE. With a proven track record in vintage research and design, they draw inspiration from the early American alpinists, mountaineers, and pioneers of innovative gear who shaped outdoor styles from the 1950s to the 1970s.
While respecting past designs, their collections incorporate playful "twists" throughout, resulting in high-quality garments with a nostalgic vintage feel.
The brand name is derived from "The Big Rock Candy Mountain," a folk song released by Harry McClintock in 1927. They propose new outdoor wear that intersects the adventurous spirit of old America with modern design sensibilities.
