【PRODUCT DESCRIPTION】
The Minaret Down Vest from Big Rock Candy Mountaineering.

This is a new, reversible vest for the Fall/Winter 2026 season.

The shell is made of smooth 100% nylon fabric, designed for comfort against the skin. It is generously insulated with "Thermore® Ecodown Genius Fibers," a high-performance insulating material that combines high thermal retention with the signature volume and surprising lightness of down.

The design is based on 1970s mountain outerwear, incorporating practical details from the era such as the characteristic front sweep pockets, a two-way zipper for reversible use, and a knit collar that prevents cold air from entering at the neck.

With the two-way zipper allowing for easy ventilation adjustment, and the ability to choose between either side depending on the temperature and layering, this vest is a versatile piece that will prove indispensable for winter styling.

【BRAND】
(BIG ROCK CANDY MOUNTAINEERING)
The brand is led by two designers: Samuel, a founding member of Rowing Blazers, and Peter, known as the designer of WYTHE. With their proven track record in vintage research and design, they draw their inspiration from early American alpinists, mountaineers, and the pioneers of innovative gear who built the outdoor style from the 1950s to the 1970s.
While paying homage to past designs, the collection adds playful "twists" throughout, resulting in high-quality pieces that carry a nostalgic, vintage feel.
The brand name is derived from "The Big Rock Candy Mountain," a folk song released in 1927 by Harry McClintock. They propose a new kind of outdoor wear where the spirit of good old American adventure intersects with a modern design sensibility.
