The Arctic Parka by Big Rock Candy Mountaineering.
This down jacket is based on the rugged cold-weather parkas developed by the pioneers who blazed the trail for the American outdoor scene in the mid-20th century.
The highly durable nylon shell features a vibrant color that stands out against winter landscapes. Inside, it is generously filled with high-quality duck down, ensuring reliable warmth even in severe cold.
The front features a dual-layer structure with a zipper covered by a buttoned storm placket, effectively blocking out biting cold winds and snow. Furthermore, the drawcords at the hood, waist, and hem can be tightened to prevent body heat from escaping and block wind entry, providing thorough cold-weather protection.
Storage is also well-considered; the large front pockets can be accessed from both the top and the sides, making them useful not only for carrying gear but also as hand warmers for cold hands.

The brand is designed by Samuel, a founding member of ROWING BLAZERS, and Peter, known as the designer of WYTHE. With a proven track record in vintage research and design, their source of inspiration was the early American alpinists, mountaineers, and innovators of groundbreaking gear who built the outdoor styles of the 1950s through the 1970s.
While paying homage to past designs, the collection adds playful "twists" throughout, resulting in high-quality pieces that carry a nostalgic, vintage-like feel.
The brand name is derived from the 1927 folk song "The Big Rock Candy Mountain" by Harry McClintock. They propose a new style of outdoor wear where the spirit of good old American adventure intersects with modern design sensibilities.
