【PRODUCT DESCRIPTION】
An alpine jacket from Big Rock Candy Mountaineering.

A down jacket with a classic aesthetic, inspired by mountain outerwear from the 70s.

It carries forward the functional details of that era with a modern touch, including eye-catching large front sweep pockets and a two-way full zip that can be opened from either the top or bottom depending on the situation. The hem and cuffs feature knit ribbing, which not only prevents cold drafts from entering but also elegantly cinches the loose silhouette.

The jacket is generously filled with "Thermore® Ecodown Genius Fibers." This is a high-performance insulation material that provides excellent heat retention while achieving the signature volume and surprising lightness of down.

With its adjustable drawstring hood and roomy sizing that accommodates any inner layer, it is designed to be as versatile for city wear as it is for layering during active winter scenes.

【BRAND】
(BIG ROCK CANDY MOUNTAINEERING)
The brand is helmed by two designers: Samuel, a founding member of Rowing Blazers, and Peter, known as the designer for Wythe. With a proven track record in vintage research and design, their source of inspiration comes from early American alpinists, mountaineers, and the pioneers of innovative gear who established the outdoor style of the 1950s through the 1970s.
While paying respect to past designs, the collection adds playful "twists" throughout, resulting in high-quality pieces that carry a nostalgic, vintage-like feel.
The brand name is derived from the 1927 folk song "The Big Rock Candy Mountain" by Harry McClintock. They propose a new kind of outdoor wear where the spirit of old-school American adventure intersects with a modern design sensibility.
