YOKO SAKAMOTO Belted Trousers
Belted work trousers.
Based on a relaxed, wide straight silhouette, these trousers come with a long belt made from the same fabric. The tack buttons are made of unpainted iron, allowing you to enjoy the process of them gradually rusting over time, transforming into a unique texture.
These trousers combine practical workwear elements with the emotional appeal of aging, making them a long-lasting and cherished item.
-RAW DENIM-
We use original fabric woven slowly and carefully on old-fashioned looms at a mill in Okayama Prefecture.
The biggest feature is that it is in a "greige" state, meaning no finishing treatments such as washing or anti-shrinkage processing are applied after weaving. Production efficiency is extremely low, with only a few meters woven per hour, but this inefficient manufacturing method avoids putting excessive tension on the threads, bringing out the inherent characteristics of the material.
By using carefully selected cotton and meticulously adjusting the fiber length and yarn twist count, we have achieved both a dry, crisp feel and a soft fullness.
※Handling precautions for denim products
・ Due to special used processing, dyeing, and washing, each item will have unique variations in the used processing, color unevenness, wrinkles, and fading. In some areas, there may also be small damage holes due to the damage processing.
・ We maximize the individuality of natural dye irregularities, stains, fading, and damage characteristic of used processing. We do not accept returns or exchanges due to the unique characteristics of used processing, such as "dye irregularities," "stains," "unsatisfactory fading," or "unsatisfactory damage." Please be aware of this before placing your order.
・ For products that undergo garment washing or garment dyeing, although strict attention is paid during creation, size discrepancies may occur depending on the situation. Please be aware of this in advance.
・ As iron tack buttons and rivets are used, there may be some rust even when new. Furthermore, they will rust more and age with repeated wear. Please be very careful about color transfer when washing and wearing.
