[BRAND]
(Tilak )
Founded in 1986 by mountaineer Roman Kamler as a company that manufactures sleeping bags, the company signed a contract with Gore-tex in 1993, and in 2000 launched the Tilak apparel line under the Tilak brand name. Tilak is characterized by the fact that each item is made with the best functionality and appearance, using the world's highest quality fabrics and world-class sewing techniques and designs in its Czech factory.
The name TILAK comes from the red mark that Hindus wear on their foreheads, which is called "Tika" or "Tilak" (ancient name). It is believed that by painting a red dot on one's forehead, one is protected by God, and from that spirit, the meaning behind the TILAK is "I will protect you by wearing it."
