[BRAND]
(Tilak )
Founded in 1986 by mountaineer Roman Kamler as a company that manufactures sleeping bags, the company signed a contract with Gore-Tex in 1993, and in 2000 launched the Tilak apparel line under the Tilak brand name. Tilak's distinctive feature is that each and every item is made with the world's finest fabrics, using the world's best sewing techniques and designs in its Czech factory, ensuring the highest level of functionality and appearance.
The name TILAK comes from the red mark that Hindus wear on their foreheads, which is called "Tika" or "Tilak" (an ancient name). It is believed that painting a red dot on one's forehead will bring protection from God, and in that spirit, the name TILAK conveys the message, "We will protect you by wearing TILAK."
