REDUCTION FACTORY / APPLE (METALLIC BLACK)
【PRODUCT DESCRIPTION】
Reduction Factory apple figurine. This is an experimental product that uses clay, glaze, and firing methods on the universal shape of "Apple". I wanted to apply the glaze to the back side of the piece for sculpting purposes, so I placed three claws (clay supports) on it and fired it. Please forgive the marks that remain. Crystals may appear where the glaze has accumulated. This is intentional and we hope you will enjoy it as part of the highlight of the piece.

[BRAND]
(REDUCTION FACTORY)
This is a ceramic brand from Tohoku that was launched in Hasami Town, Nagasaki Prefecture in 2016 by ceramic designer Kuntaro Abe and moved its base to Iwate Prefecture in 2024.
This is a self-made brand that was started with the idea that by having direct contact with material selection, techniques, mixing, firing, etc., I would be able to further deepen my knowledge as a ceramic designer.
Based on the idea of "100 things that enrich the lives of 100 people," the brand strives to make its products as inexpensive and easy to purchase as possible, and while they are reproducible products, they are decorated in a way that allows individual differences so that buyers can choose from them.
