The material used is a water-repellent typewriter fabric woven with ultra-fine count extra-long staple cotton at an ultra-high density for both the warp and weft.
This is an original fabric that has been improved with YS's own unique interpretation, based on a historic Japanese military-spec material developed for use by air force pilots.
It features a firmness and depth of texture that can only be achieved with ultra-high density, something that cannot be found in ordinary typewriters.
The material develops more character with repeated wearing, and you can enjoy the changes that occur over time.
