【PRODUCT DESCRIPTION】
This is the Minaret Down Vest from Big Rock Candy Mountaineering.

A new reversible vest from the Autumn/Winter 2026 season.

The shell is made of smooth 100% nylon fabric, designed for comfort against the skin. It is generously filled with "Thermore® Ecodown Genius Fibers." This high-performance insulation material offers exceptional heat retention while achieving the distinct volume and surprising lightness of traditional down.

The design is based on 1970s mountain outerwear. It incorporates practical details from that era, such as characteristic front sweep pockets, a reversible 2-way zipper, and a knit collar that prevents cold air from entering through the neck.

The 2-way zipper allows for easy ventilation adjustment, and the reversible design lets you switch sides depending on the temperature or layering, making it a versatile piece for winter styling.

【BRAND】
(BIG ROCK CANDY MOUNTAINEERING)
The brand is helmed by Samuel, a founding member of Rowing Blazers, and Peter, known as the designer of Wythe. With a proven track record in vintage research and design, they draw inspiration from the early American alpinists, mountaineers, and innovators of groundbreaking gear who built the outdoor style of the 1950s to the 1970s.
While paying homage to past designs, the collection adds playful "twists" throughout, resulting in high-quality pieces that carry a nostalgic, vintage aesthetic.
The brand name is derived from the 1927 folk song "The Big Rock Candy Mountain" by Harry McClintock. They propose new outdoor wear where the spirit of classic American adventure intersects with a contemporary design sensibility.
