【PRODUCT DESCRIPTION】
This is the Alpine Jacket from Big Rock Candy Mountaineering.

Inspired by mountain outerwear from the 1970s, this down jacket features a classic aesthetic.

It carries forward functional details from that era with a modern touch, such as the eye-catching large front sweep pockets and a two-way full zip that can be opened from either the top or bottom depending on the situation. The hem and cuffs feature knit ribbing, which prevents cold drafts from entering while elegantly cinching the relaxed silhouette.

The jacket is generously insulated with "Thermore® Ecodown Genius Fibers." This high-performance insulation material offers excellent heat retention while simultaneously achieving the volume and surprising lightness characteristic of down.

With an adjustable drawstring hood and a roomy fit that accommodates any inner layer, it is designed to be versatile enough for both city wear and as a layering piece for active winter scenes.

【BRAND】
(BIG ROCK CANDY MOUNTAINEERING)
The brand is helmed by two designers: Samuel, a founding member of Rowing Blazers, and Peter, known as the designer for Wythe. With a proven track record in vintage research and design, they draw their inspiration from the early American alpinists, mountaineers, and pioneers of innovative gear who established outdoor styles from the 1950s through the 1970s.
While respecting the designs of the past, the collection adds playful "twists" throughout, resulting in high-quality garments that possess a nostalgic, vintage-like feel.
The brand name is derived from "The Big Rock Candy Mountain," a folk song released by Harry McClintock in 1927. The brand proposes a new form of outdoor wear where the spirit of good old American adventure intersects with a modern design sensibility.
