Snow has started falling in Iwate, and winter has finally arrived.
Until recently, we had a long summer, but now the temperature changes drastically.

In this day and age, it's really convenient to be able to adjust the temperature. Military items are well thought out. But if you're not into vintage clothing, we recommend the Grand Fishtail Parka.

The shape is the same, and both are made of 100% cotton outer fabric with 100% polyester liner and padding.

However, the pattern and finish are different.

First off, here's a look at the look image.

Personally, I think the reason why the M-51 and M-65 fishtail parkas are loved by so many people is because they are large and easy to wear.

I actually used to own an M-65, and it's big enough to wear a lot of layers underneath, the liner is synthetic so it's light, and it also has a nice atmosphere, so I always end up reaching for it.

However, the downside is that many people will have the same name.

So here's the Grand Timberline Parka.

The outer material is an original 100% cotton fabric.
The lining is made of lightweight polyester with a high neck that fastens with buttons, and is also warm and padded.

You can remove the liner and wear it as a cotton parka. This is perfect for spring and early autumn. You can also wear it with just the liner, but it doesn't have pockets, so it's not recommended.

It will be great outside of summer.

First, black.
The outer (shell) material is made of a high-density woven fabric made from 60-count and 50-count threads.
Its high density makes it windproof, so by adding a liner to the windproof shell, it becomes a warm outer layer that will keep you warm all winter long.

The outer fabric is processed using the Omi-sarashi method.

Omi bleaching processing originates from the traditional bleaching process of Shiga Prefecture, and is a processing method in which the fabric is kneaded for a long period of time to give it a natural texture like that of freshly washed fabric, and a soft, fluffy feel.

Furthermore, the product is dyed to create natural color variations.

It has a moist texture and is soft and light, which is rare for high-density cotton.

Next is the camouflage pattern.

We use an original poplin fabric that samples the fabric of jungle fatigues from the early 60s. This high density.

The fabric is hand-printed using special ink (a traditional dyeing technique in which artisans manually apply dye to the fabric one color at a time using a rubber spatula or similar tool).

Because it is handmade, there are unevenness and variations in the ink distribution in some places, making it look like art.

This is not a camouflage pattern that was actually used by the military, but an original camouflage pattern created by GURANK.The blurry pattern makes it suitable for wearing in the city without looking out of place.

No matter what style you're wearing, whether it's sweats and jeans, or slacks and a nice shirt or knit, just throw this on and you'll find yourself reaching for it all the time.

What's more, it can be worn for three seasons other than summer, making it a piece that you can enjoy for a long period of time.
