The shape is sampled from fabrics of vintage workwear from the 1960s.
Our store also sells vintage clothing, and we carry many original hunting jackets from this area, so it's a good idea to have a look and compare them.

There happened to be an LL BEAN jacket with a 70s cursive tag in the store, so when I compared them, I noticed that the pocket placement and shoulder details were similar, making it clear that this jacket was sampled from hunting gear from that era.

The shape is based on a vintage design, but the fabric is completely different. It's made from an original 12oz fabric. As the name suggests, it's 80% cotton and 20% hemp.
The hemp is soaked in wax before weaving, allowing the hemp knots to be more easily incorporated.

This fabric is really good and completely different from vintage ones. It feels much lighter when worn than it looks. By washing this fabric, it has a different feel to a shiny new item. Hunting jackets that are too clean are actually hard to match.
