TILAK 25SS

tilak

Founded in 1986 by mountaineer Roman Kamler as a company that manufactures sleeping bags, the company signed a contract with Gore-tex in 1993, and in 2000 launched the Tilak apparel line under the Tilak brand name. Tilak is characterized by the fact that each item is made with the best possible functionality and appearance, using the world's highest quality fabrics and world-class sewing techniques and designs in its Czech factory.

The name TILAK comes from the red mark that Hindus wear on their foreheads, which is called "Tika" or "Tilak" (ancient name). It is believed that by painting a red dot on one's forehead, one will be protected by God, and from that spirit, the meaning of "We will protect you by wearing TILAK" is included.

The STINGER MIG JACKET is a tactical shell made from Gore-Tex, which is actually used by the Czech and Italian armies.

The STINGER JACKET is a jacket that is sold as part of tilak's in-line brand, and the word MIG stands for military gear.

The fabric used is GORE-TEX PACLITE® PLUS.
It is characterised by its light weight among Gore-Tex materials.
It has a two-layer structure with no lining.
This fabric combines the best of both worlds: waterproof, durable, windproof, highly breathable, and lightweight.

When you turn it over, you can see the waterproof tape neatly attached. Even now, Tilak products are made in the Czech Republic, and compared to other outdoor brands,
The cut and stitching is very nicely done.

The parts have been carefully crafted, and it has many convenient features when wearing it, such as the Velcro parts on the sleeves and the zipper tubes.

There are large pockets on both sides of the chest area, and when you actually use it you'll be surprised at how much capacity it has.

The slightly larger design means that if you wear a warm inner layer in the winter, it will protect you from the snow, so you can wear it for a long season. Depending on the inner layer, it is an outerwear that can be used all year round.

This is the first lightweight jacket released by Tilak.

This is the lightest jacket from tilak, made with PERTEX® QuantumAir®. It is densely woven, making it both strong and lightweight. It can be folded up small, making it highly storable. It is water-repellent, windproof, and quick-drying when you sweat.

The design is simple with only two pockets: a small chest pocket and a packable pocket. When packed, it becomes small enough to fit in your pocket, so it won't get in the way even if you keep it in your bag.

The slightly slim design and thumb holes make it ideal for active situations.
Since it is slim, it is also recommended to wear it as an inner layer under a jacket.

The Tind Jacket is a lightweight jacket that is often compared to the Aira above.
This is a lightweight, water-repellent, packable jacket made from the "Craft Evo®" fabric.

It is a water-repellent fabric made of 100% nylon, yet has elasticity. It is also highly durable because it does not contain polyurethane and has elasticity.

It is more water repellent than the Aira, and the pockets are located at the waist as usual, making the Tind a more convenient design for everyday use around town.

This one is also packable into a small size.
There is no better option than aira or tind; the choice depends on the wearer's lifestyle.
We would be delighted if you could try them on in store.
