[I am dork]

Yasushi Nakano of ANSNAM has created a new brand called "I am dork" with Takashi Okano of "For flowers of romance" as the designer, and Nakano is overseeing the production aspects such as patterns and materials. The collection was created with the image of skaters in the 90s in mind, and reinterprets the casual items worn by street boys at the time, such as those seen in Larry Clark's movie "KIDS," from the perspective of Okano, who was once a skater himself, and creates new values by raising them to the highest quality.

WORK PANTS

We would like to introduce the 25SS I AM DORK.
This time we will introduce work pants.

Let's start with the shape.
A powerful wide style. A mysterious silhouette that has a sense of beauty within it. Our store offers one size: 1. The waist is about 33 inches. Wear it large and tighten it with a belt.

Like the previous shirt, this one is modeled after the oversized work chinos that were popular among skaters in the 90s, like those featured in the movie KIDS.

However, just because the stitching and fabric are different, they are completely different from vintage Dickies or Ben Davis, and give the impression of being closer to slacks.
Proof of this is that it goes well with leather shoes, sneakers, and sandals.

Fabric: Lyria (ITALY)

There are three types of fabrics available this time.

Both the unevenly dyed blue and beige are from LYRIA, Italy.

Lilia is a fabric brand under the umbrella of CERRUTI, a long-established Italian men's brand.

The founder creates fabrics inspired by everything from people he has met while traveling around the world, to memories of people he has been involved with, to photos, etc. He places emphasis on natural fibers such as wool, linen, and cotton, and creates unique fabrics through combinations and weaving techniques that surprise other textile manufacturers.

WORK PANTS"COLD DYED" (BLUE) / ¥66,000

The fabric is 100% cotton and can be washed at home.

It is dyed using a method called cold dyeing, which gives it an uneven color. The fact that it uses first-class fabric and dyes it unevenly is what makes it unique.

Another plus point is that the fabric is dyed at the fabric stage, combining fabrics with different finishes on the front, back, left and right, like patchwork.

Looks even better when paired with HIDDEN BUTTON SHIRTS "VISCOSE" (CORAL CHECK) .

However, since these pants are quite striking, they would look good paired with a T-shirt and flip-flops.

The fabric is sturdy, so we hope you'll wear it often and let it develop.

WORK PANTS"COLD DYED" (BEIGE) / ¥66,000

A different shade of the blue mentioned above. Beige unevenly dyed.
To be honest, when you look at it inside the store, the unevenness isn't that noticeable, but when you look at it in sunlight, it's clearly not normal.

In this way it may be easier to incorporate into your life than blue.

The more you wear them, the better they will fit and the better they will look.

It will be especially useful in spring and summer.

WORK PANTS "High Density Cotton" (BLACK) / ¥60,500

This is a different fabric from the unevenly dyed one, made in Japan from 100% high density cotton.

They're simple, so it may be hard to tell from the picture, but these black pants are a great pair to have in the spring and summer.
Quite thin but high density. Sturdy fabric.
The fabric has a dry, smooth texture.
While you may need to wear tights during the middle of winter, this is a convenient pair of pants that can be worn all year round.

In the coming season, a T-shirt and these pants will surprisingly create a balanced look.

At first glance, uneven dyeing gives the impression of a delicate pair of pants, but these are actually pants that will develop a unique texture as you wear them a lot.

This year, I imagined wearing it tucked in with a vintage printed T-shirt.

I thought I had ordered more than I needed, but like the shirts, they are moving quickly and we are running low on stock.
Please come early.
